Secure-24 is looking for a Network Engineer. This is a growing company with
a good reputation.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
· Solve network related problems and incidents on the network.
· Maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network
related devices.
· Communicate with customers, engineers and non-technical coworkers.
· Implement network-based solutions within defined timelines.
· Work with a team of other passionate Network Engineers to achieve
set goals.
· Demonstrate strong analytical abilities and professionalism.
· Build LAN and WAN network topology.
· Document and describing network environments.
· Troubleshoot QoS and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP).
· Implement cusotmer/vendor peering with BGP and MPLS.
· Setup SSL VPN and IPSEC VPN on various vendor’s devices.
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
· Bachelors degree Computer Science or Information Technology or
similar.
· Strong experience with firewalls and network security. Juniper,
Checkpoint and/or Cisco ASA. Application aware firewall experience a plus.
· Excellent understanding of OSI Model and computer networking
(TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, Dot1Q).
· Ability to effectively communicate network concepts and network
challenges to both technical and non-technical people.
· Packet analysis expertise. Ability to work with Wireshark and
translate network anomalies to application teams and executives.
· Experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS and/or JUNOS.
· Knowledge of network security best practices and vulnerabilities.
· Network related certifications (Minimum CCNA, JNCIA or
equivalent).
· CCNP, CCVP, JNCIS, JNCIE or CCIE preferred.
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
· Understanding of enterprise and/or datacenter applications
(Microsoft AD, LDAP, DNS, SMTP).
· Understanding of datacenter infrastructure (VMware, Cisco UCS,
SAN).
