Hm. When I ran the GRCC Computer Club, we used IRC as a way for our deaf
member to communicate and get in on meeting conversations.[1] In the
future, it may be helpful if someone at the meeting could relay
questions from #mdlug into a spoken question, which the presenter could
then answer. I realize I left a couple people behind at the meeting, and
it wasn't my intention.

[1] I didn't notice an interpreter, so I presume you can lipread. He
couldn't, but an interpreter wasn't always around.
