[mdlug] New Debian Install

Matt,

Not sure how you are configured. My setup my DHCP server gets the address
main IP/DNS IP's from the AT&T device. Do you have a static IP address to
AT&T?

Just for fun, switch to static IP and us 68.94.156.1 & 68.94.157.1 for DNS
and see what happens. If it works, then you know it is in the AT&T device.

I am not using the dhcp server on the Netopia device from AT&T I have my own
dhcp server running on the network.

Mat,

I never figured it out, as I move the machine to another location, but I
think it has something to do with the DHCP server they have running in the
AT&T hardware. I now have a Debain 6 running in a VM so maybe I'll play with
it someday.

Stan I am on an AT&T DSL line i do not understand why that would matter as
everything internal works except pinging the gateway and I can not get out
out at all.
