Hello all,
    This weekend is the September MDLUG meeting.  It is on September
10th at 12:30pm at Gaudior Academy Computer Room.  It is Located at
27100 Avondale Avenue Inkster MI 48141. 
    We will start the meeting with some business and the Vote on the
proposal to change the name on the Educational 501c3 (non-profit status)
from the Downriver Commodore Group (DCG) to the Metro Detroit Linux
Users Group (MDLUG).
    The Command Trick of the month is to speed up your linux computer by
changing the Swappiness (vm.swappiness=10).
    The Linux Kernel's 20 Anniversary was August 25th.  Inspired by the
anniversary the presentation for this month will be a short history on
Linux.  The second part of the Presentation I will request you guys to
share your Linux story. Please share When, Where, What Distro, and Why
you started using Linux.
