[mdlug] Debian install issue

Yes I have tried numerous boot parameter combinations all to no avail. I am thinking of trying one of the full install cd's instead. Do you think it may have more drivers on it?   Do you think part of the problem maybe that Debian now ships a completely free kernel with no binary blobs?

I seem to recall that at boot time you could press the F2 and
F3 keys to find various boot options.  Is that available with
squeeze?
