Many of us are waiting for the new Tech Shop to open in Dearborn.  They have a plan to have design software and the hardware to build the stuff.

I know there are some electrical engineers on this list. It has been a very long 
time since I did printed circuit board (PCB) design. Back then you gave the 
company making your board a film positive, which you drew by hand, and they 
would make the board form it. I've been told that today you simply supply the 
company with a file and they make the board from that.

Assuming this is true, is that a Linux program you would recommend for this 
task?
