I remember using graphical Linux on a 16MB 486 with 1MB of VRAM. When I
bumped it up to 64MB RAM and 2MB VRAM it was like a ray of golden light
from heaven shone down upon my desktop...

Granted, the install was text-based. They *all* were then. :)
