TechShow Detroit open house tonight 8/1/2011 Noon - 8:00PM EST. 800 Republic Drive, Allen Park, MI 48101 (just behind the Lion's Football Practice field).  TechShop is a member's based do-it-yourself workshop that provides you with the tools, equipment, training and a vibrant supportative environment of creative people and staff to help bring your ideas to life.

This weekend is Maker Faire this is a show at The Henry Ford for people who make 
stuff.

I just saw a note from TechShop. they plan to open in Dearborn in 
November.

The Dearborn site has a Maker Faire Wrap Party and open house going Sunday 7/31 8Pm - 
11PM and again Monday Noon - 8 PM.  The address is 800 Republic Drive Allen Park, MI
