[mdlug] Converting tapes

oddly enough I had to resort to Linux to record a track from an older cd that 
did not play on newer cd players. 


I connected the audio out to the line in on my linux pc. I forgot what the 
specific application I used to record but I could not do it on windows easily. 


You might be able to do the same from a tape player line out --> the audio 
input.
