This kind of thing is one of the many reasons that I use and recommend
AMD instead.  I've NEVER trusted Intel in the 30+ years I've worked
with CPUs.  I do realize that most current netbooks use either Intel
or ARM variants (including the upcoming nVidia Tegra series) but there
are AMD-based netbooks and tablets on the way.
