[mdlug] MDLUG February Meeting - 2010 Officer Election and Bylaw Changes

The next MDLUG general membership meeting will be on Saturday, February 
13, 2010 at 12:30PM at Gaudior Academy 27100 Avondale Avenue Inkster MI 
48141.

Meeting agenda is:

1. Election of 2010 officers:

a. Nominations for 2010 MDLUG officers:
    President - Gibson Nichols
    Vice President  - Garry Stahl
    Michael Persello  - Treasurer
    Secretary - Tony Bemus

  (If you wish to vote by proxy, please notify the Secretary 
(secretary at mdlug.org) via email prior to the meeting, with the following 
information: (a.) Your Name; (b.) MDLUG member who will cast your proxy 
vote;  (c.) Be sure and put 2010 MDLUG Officer proxy vote in the subject 
line.


2. Vote on the following bylaw amendments:

a. Eliminate paper library by amending MDLUG bylaws ( Section V, 
subsection A, part 6) to read: The librarian who collects, maintains, 
and makes available to members freely distributable software.

b. Amend MDLUG bylaws, Section V Subsection A, to add part 7: Meeting 
room logistics facilitator who manages the planning and set-up for the 
MDLUG monthly meeting space.

c. Amend bylaws by adding Section V. Subsection C.: Appointed positions 
may be held by an elected officer provided that he or she agrees to 
assume the duties of the appointed position.



3. Vote on the following motion:  Create Cafe Press Account to sell 
MDLUG merchandise.
