Yes, I was one of those folks afraid to use 64 bit until
I needed to install it on a server for a particular app.
I installed and worked flawlessly.  That's what made me
think it was worth a try on my laptop.  As others have
said, everything works without a noticeable increase in
performance, except vmware-server.  My virtual machines
just seem to run smoother now that I'm on 64 bit Centos.
