There's a newer plugin for Evolution that uses OpenChange
(http://www.openchange.org/) that uses the native MAPI protocol rather
than going through the exchange web client.  I doubt it's in *buntu
8.10 or even 9.04.  I plan to test it once Fedora 11 is released.
