My client has a full time permanent position available for a Linux Admin with 3+ years experience. They are seeking someone with the skills listed below.  

 

Experience installing, administering, configuring and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.6 & 5

Prior experience supporting a clustered Linux environment preferred

Assist in supporting and monitoring Oracle servers and JBoss Application Server Monitor database backups (this will not be the primary focus but any knowledge and or experience is helpful)

Perform routine test restores
Provide after hours support, as needed, for critical systems

Optimize SQL queries 

The ability to manage multiple assignments in a constantly changing environment
Create and maintain related system and process documentation​
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
