Hi John,

I don't think I have much pull, but here is a go at it.....

John is in a LUG in CA that meets the first Saturday of each month. I
found them interesting in that they try to use Ekiga to VOIP the
meeting. I have joined in the last two months. I was able to meet a
couple of people that shared my interest in Linux and chat with them
over my Linux box and USB headset with Ekiga. The sound quality was
great, at least until a bunch a people get in with open mics. But
showing up early let me participate in some good chat.

The BerkleleyTIP group was great, but I was dreaming of something a bit
more frequent than once a month. I didn't think I could commit to the
first Saturday of each month, especially with Spring around the corner.
So I started www.virtuallug.com with the idea of Ekiga meet-ups on
Thursday nights at 9:00.

So, please consider joining the BerkleyTIP this Saturday and/or
www.virtuallug.com this Thursday for some extra Linux stuff.
