I just got dental xrays they were digital.

That was way cool. and cost effective.

Thumb drive for medical?

We also need openness.  I, the patient should be able to read my medical
records as a plain text file.  An open source cross platform readable
file system with a single format.  Frankly, we have it, it is called ascii.
