[mdlug] Mint 6, SSH and disconnects

Hello everyone,

I'm running Linux Mint 6 Felicia (basically Ubuntu Intrepid) on my
computer at home.

I am working at a small company and after setting up access to my
computer at home using SSH I am experiencing connection drops on an
apparently random basis. What will happen is this:

1. I come into work and establish the connection using WinXP -> Puttytray
2. Connection works fine for an unspecified amount of time, usually at
least a few hours
3. Connection drops (PuttyTray says "Software caused connection abort",
or something similar), it's just like if you typed "exit" in an open session
4. When I get back home I see that Network Manager says that my
connection is disconnected but when I click on it and select it it
connects immediately
"You are now connected to the wired network"

I can ping the computer but SSH either times out or says "No route to host".

I'm pretty new at Linux but learning more all the time. Is there a log
I can check to find what is happening, or does someone know if this is a
bug with Network Manager?

Any input would be appreciated,

Brandon
