Seriously?  Like what?  Anyone who compares MySQL to Informix/DB2/Oracle
does nothing but advertise they can't tell the difference between a pony
and an elephant.

Ponies are great, I love ponies, ponies are useful.  But ponies are not
elephants.  Sometimes you need an elephant.

Oracle makes money of support and application development.  I doubt they
give two rusty cents about MySQL customers - the vast majority of whom
have a budget of $0.
