The rising amount of coverage on how "social-networking" makes people
anti-social in the real-world is interesting.

I'm on Facebook,  primarily it is good as a non-topical quasi-IM
platform;  status updates are the only part that is very useful.  Much
like Twitter it is useful when approached with rigid limitations [only
follow actually interesting people/things, ... don't let all that crap
pile-on].

Thanks.

And thoughts of the halcyon days of KLUG are always pleasant.  The
plowing under of that group was a real loss.
