Try www.opensuse.org they cover the issues that each release covers.
linux.org, covers the kernel.
www.distrowatch.com might be a good one.
Are you also talking about applications like openoffice, KDE, and Kdevlop?

Subject: [mdlug] Keeping current w/RHEL and SUSE
I'm tasked at work with keeping abreast of developments affecting
applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux. Mostly new
releases, betas, that kind of thing. Are there good mailing lists, RSS
feeds, or forums devoted to this information? Thanks for any suggestions
y'all can provide...
Sincerely,
Ray Ingles (313) 227-2317
It is easier to be a "humanitarian" than to render your own country
its proper due; it is easier to be a "patriot" than to make your
community a better place to live in; it is easier to be a "civic
leader" than to treat your own family with loving understanding; for
the smaller the focus of attention, the harder the task.
