I was at a building on Woodward and; I think Farnsworth the
other day. I thought I saw some sort of cafe/restaurant/other
on the main floor. Not sure about wifi either, although it
should be fairly widespread by the college? The building is six
to twelve stories tall, sits on the east side of Woodward, in
the area of the DIA and Science Center. I can highly recommend
the Atlas Bistro; further down Woodward around Watson on
the west side of Woodward; for the food. Very good food last
time I was there, but might be to pricey and I don't know about
wifi. There used to be a Macdonalds in that same stretch of
Woodward that has wifi. I remember a rather large selection of
restaurants on or near Woodward, between Wayne State and the
Grand Circus from several years ago allready. If you go north
on Woodward to Grand Boulevard, you'll be in the new Center
Area. Ooh ooh ooh I just remembered. Northern Lights Lounge,
650 Baltimore. Just south of Grand Blvd in the New Center Area.
It has wifi. Cool place and clean, don't know about the food
but did I mention it was clean? Good Luck. I can't say enough
good things about ATT's $15 unlimited data plan and Joikuspot.
Keeps me out of the coffeeshops!
Best Regards,
