It has been reported that it can come out of standby, sleep, powersaving 
and work.
I haven't been able to confirm that.
I think it works only on the newer computers.

One of the advantages is getting a local phone number.
So people can call in or out of state (or even the country) by using a 
MJ number
for family and friends/business. (as a local call).

I have had good luck using if for fax. But others reports it sometimes 
works.
I was faxing out.
