 Do you mean luck with the PS3 specifically? My first try didn't seem to work,
but I haven't had a chance to play with it much. From a little bit of searching,
it seems like there are a few xvid options that might reliably produce useful
file (noqpel,nogmc, -vf harddup) but I won't be able to test until tonight.

 On the bright side, I did some drive swapping and I now have an 80GB disk in
my PS3, so eventually I'll get around to installing Linux on that thing. :->
