[mdlug] OT: AIX CD - ROM

You can't get access to the CD-ROM drive or to the CD-ROM containing the software?  I am assuming the former - just make a tarball of the entire cd, untar it on the system, then run your smit install and choose the directory you untarred the cd to.  Note that you may have to cd into the directory of the contents of the CD-ROM after you have untarred them and run 'inutoc .'

I'm working with a PowerPC AIX system. I have to install some software and I cant get to the CDROM.
