[mdlug] Sound and permissions

Well, the sound seems to work perfectly well if I'm logged in as 
root, while Youtube videos are
silent if I'm logged in as drew. (Fedora Core 4.) So as was pointed 
out it's likely a permissions
problem.

So the obvious solution seems to be going through all the 
sound-related files, directories, and
devices and chmodding them to allow liberal access.

Only, the one that I know of, /dev/dsp, I changed from 600 to 666 
with no effect. AND the owner
is the drew account, though the group is set to root.

So, what are all the files, directories, and devices that have 
anything to do with sound?
