Hello, I know of a place where I have wanted to invite people for a lug
meeting for some time.   It's on Woodward 4 blocks south of 7 mile.  The
address is 18700 Woodward.    I have been hanging out there for pretty close
to 3 years and I know the owner quite well.   

Any weeknight except Wednesday and Friday is possible for a meeting as well as
the whole weekend.   So I am thinking Thursday night, or Saturday afternoon,
or both.  

 Although there are a lot of people wandering around, in 3 years of going
there, I have never had an issue with anyone bothering me, except panhandlers.
 Across Woodward is a golf course.   The owner is a chiropracter, and he used
to practice in the suburbs.   I have seen BMWs and Mercedes there owned by his
patients and nobody seems to think it's any danger.   

The reason I asked about food at the Coney Island is the owner also has a cafe
in the place.   I have done enough computer work for him that he's willing to
let me use the space on a low-traffic night.   Nobody would be under any
obligation to get anything to eat or drink.   But it wouldn't be fair either,
I don't think, to bring outside food or drink in.  There would be free tap
water.  

The location happens to be really good for me, and the atmosphere is really
relaxed and friendly.   The owner is a super nice guy.   Too nice, in fact,
probably.   

There is wireless. There is parking on the street and in a vacant lot across
the street.  So let me know what you think, and if there is any response, I
will schedule a meeting.
