Nah, it makes total sense. Of course they want you to get Linux *clients*
working with their server. The server costs money. If the article was about
how to make Windows desktop machines authenticate against openLDAP as a
domain controller, then I would start preparing for the End Times.
This only makes their server product *look* better, people can now point to
this and say "oh jeez it's so flexible it can connect to linux, i don't need
to listen to my tech guy who wants an openldap server."
