[mdlug] Linux Creeping Into Everyday Life

Hello All,
    Yesterday I ordered the Roku Netflix player
<http://www.roku.com/products/netflixplayer/index.php>, hoping it
shared some sort of Linux OS with the other Roku products. It indeed
does seem to be running some sort of embedded Linux flavor. On my way
to collect the link above, I was warned that I was using an unsupported
browser (Opera) and I was also told which browser is supported on
Linux. Today I picked up a 4gig Toshiba flash drive; on sale for $25
at Office Max; and was told that it would work under Linux. Yes I
know, but they still had to expend the thougt to include that bit as
well as the ink to print it.
