When I installed the latest version of flashplayer plugin (9.0) installed, firefox crashes every time I go to website with flash. I had flash-block enabled. I un-installed flash-block but that did not help either. I tried both the rpm and tarred version of the flash-block from the Adobe site. The only option was to remove the plugin from /opt/firefox/plugins.

You don't have to wait to install Hardy to use Firefox 3. Since about
beta 3 it's been more stable, not to mention noticeably more responsive,
then Firefox 2. I've only had it crash every couple of weeks as opposed
to Firefox 2 crashing on a daily basis.

Two issues in using Firefox 3, as far as I'm concerned, are that the
number of add-ons is very limited which may account, in part, for the
stability of Firefox 3, and it's still a bit rough around the edges. For
instance, the "back" and "forward" buttons don't have the drop-downs
you'll find in Firefox2.
