Works with SUSE just fine, IF you use the automatic setup tool. I have
a T-61 with SLED OEM. I got it in April Beating your head on the
manual setup is a bear. For once the automatic tool works better.

I love Thinkpads and the new T-61 is a sweet example. My son and I were
discussing the merits of laptops and he mentioned the rather dull looks
of the Thinkpads. I said yes, they are not the shiniest examples, but
how does your six month old Toshiba compare to my 8 year old 600X on
looks? He has scratch in that shiny case. With the swipe of a damp
cloth the 600X looks new out of the box. They may be on the dull side,
but they are durable.

Shiny is as Shiny does.
