[mdlug] squid configure script on Debian?

With apt-get you would use 'apt-get source package-name'

to down load source files.

make sure you have a like something like this in your 
/etc/apt/source.list file

deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free

I don't use aptitude or any of the other apt-get front ends so can't 
help you there.
