[mdlug] squid configure script on Debian?

Hello, I have a Debian 4 box and I've used aptitude to get squid and squid3.   Normally, when I've just 
downloaded squid, and untarred it, there is a configure script that you can run, or need to run, to supply 
all these options, so it can make it with all the options compiled in.   I'm trying to find the source using
aptitude, or apt-get, and it doesn't find it.  Does anyone know if the squid source is available for debian,
or am I thinking about it all wrong?     Thanks, Dean.
