[mdlug] Entire computer stopped working

I know this will sound stupid, but have you cleaned the heat sink on the 
CPU's? DVD encoding is very CPU intense and can cause the CPU to get very 
hot. If not cooled, it can overheat and lock up the system. I have had this 
happen  on two different PC.  Now I clean them about once every 6 months.
