    For someone of my limited expertise, I would have to agree. There
are some fans of Toshiba that have Linux working well but not I. Which
is why I'm seriously thinking about biting the bullet. I have the
recovery discs, original box etc for the Toshiba, so I can restore it to
original as shipped condition and get rid of it.
