[mdlug] fstab: nfs server mounts not mounting

Hello, I have nfs mount points that mount OK if I mount them manually.

I can then copy the corresponding lines from /etc/mtab, or enter them by hand, and the nfs server name shows up in highlighted red, like there's something wrong with it.    The logs show that the system thinks the nfs server is a "special device".   

Even though I can ping it, and the hand mounts work.   

Nothing else in the line is red.   

Can anyone think of anything?         thanks, Dean
