[mdlug] Lenovo T61p MMC/SD card Ubuntu 8.04

I am trying to get a Canon MMC 32Meg card working on a Lenovo T61p with
Ubuntu 8.04 - The light will flash for 2 blinks when I insert the card then
stop - nothing I can see in syslog, Dmesg or messages files in /var/log.   I
have tried tail -f all the logs to see if it will register anything but
nothing is written to the files at the time I insert the card.


only MMC I can find is in dmesg
