Hello, trying to test squidGuard, all I get is this:

[root at proxy slog]# echo "http://www.google.com 192.9.70.126/ - - GET" | squidGuard -c /usr/local/squidGuard/squidGuard.conf -d
2008-04-16 16:35:22 [6005] New setting: dbhome: /usr/local/squidGuard/db
2008-04-16 16:35:22 [6005] New setting: logdir: /usr/local/squidGuard/log
2008-04-16 16:35:22 [6005] squidGuard: setting dbhome is defined in configfile /usr/local/squidGuard/squidGuard.conf
2008-04-16 16:35:22 [6005] going into emergency mode

2008-04-16 16:35:22 [6005] ending emergency mode, stdin empty

is there any way to bump up this output? Does anyone know of any online resources that have helped you?

I don't understand how the process of converting the text files to databases is supposed to work. If I run squidGuard -C <dbdir>, is that supposed to convert everything in <dbdir>? How will I know if it's working? I let it run for 24 hours and it did nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.
