 I do plan on stealing one idea from it: an alternate coloring scheme
will have recently-touched files be 'white-hot' and then they'll
gradually 'cool' to black.

 Thanks. One thing I didn't anticipate is how wide the rooms get when
you've got a lot of subdirectories. My home directory is unmanageably
broad. I may have to re-think how to lay out the doors...
