[mdlug] Disable IPv6?

Does anyone know how to completely disable IPv6 in Red Hate (short of
recompiling)?  I¹ve followed the KB articles and still the ipv6 modules
shows up in a lsmod and my interfaces have IPv6 addresses assigned to them.
sit0 still shows up.  I have put INITIPV6=no in my ifcfg-<ifname> files, and
put NETWORKING_IPV6=no in /etc/sysconfig/network.  Still it persists.
