 But there's no reason at all to lose hope. Indeed, one may take heart in
the recent Supreme Court decision regarding patents as noted here:

 It's become much easier to toss out patents now. Still not at all cheap,
but companies now face greater risks if they try to use their patents
agressively, which will blunt this threat considerably...
