              Topic:  Spam Reduction Techniques

   Clif will do a brief bit about the things he's been doing for spam
reduction.

   The two tricks he's using right now are postprocessing milter-greylist
data files.

   He has a whitelist that he uses to prune garbage entries from the
milter-greylist text database, so anyone trying to send mail to
adam at cflynt.com, beta at cflynt.com, etc just gets an eternal "greylisting in
action, come back in a half hour".

   He is also watching the /var/log/maillog for many hits per second from
a single box and then adding that site to iptables with something like:
       /sbin/iptables -I INPUT -j REJECT -i ppp0 -s $ip 
and two hours later, removing the rejection.
