[mdlug] TAR probloms

I think i got it. somewhere along the lines the .gz got droped from the file name so renameing the file and then doing a tar -xzf webback.tar.gz worked.

Im having a problom untaring a file this is what happens

:/var/www# tar -xf webback_1_10_06.tar
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Archive contains obsolescent base-64 headers
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

is there anyway i can get around this?
