[mdlug] Going price for LCD TV set?

I have a friend who is moving halfway across the country and has offered to 
sell me his LCD TV,  but I have no idea what price I ought to offer him.  I 
don't know the exact specifications,  but it looked like it's about 40" 
diagonally,  LCD,  DVD aspect-ratio,  in good condition.  I ran a quick 
search on ebay but only found a lot of "wholesale buyers guides".  What is a 
fair price for a used thin-panel TV of that size,  in reasonably good 
condition?
