BTW, the best free media player I've found for Palms is "The Core
Pocket Media Player" (TCPMP):

Also, a bit of tweaking with that script would generate files suitable
for other purposes, like backing up a movie to CD. (For backing up to DVD,
I've had plenty of success with "k9copy". It can recode a movie on a 9GB
DVD so that it fits on a 4.7GB one, and usually the extra compression is
unnoticeable.
