I have a Tyan desktop mobo (S2390B - Trinity KT-A) in my main PC
right now. I've had it since 2002. I've had another Tyan (S1590 -
Trinity 100AT) in my secondary PC since 1998. Both are rock solid.
They did cost a little bit more than the el cheapo ones, but it's
definitely been worth it. I've never had a problem with either one.
Another mobo I had good luck with was by Gigabyte. I ended up trading
it to a co-worker for an SGI box, IIRC. :)
I had a DFI mobo once and it was flaky. Same with an FIC mobo.
