Yow! This is good to know. It could be a pain if you are using the pop
feature of a email client to pull your inbox. You would need to adjust
your habits, to say the least. Another example of a feature that might
be a nice option foisted on the user. Too bad gmail is free, other wise
we could complain...

I use thunderbird to pull a gmail inbox, but not one that I use for
mailing lists.
