"I do not like the Linux office programs and I feel
like I have given them the old college try. I simply do not care for
it... when it takes me three hours to do something I could
have done in one hour, it is not benefiting myself nor our family."
She wants Office. She's even willing to get a separate new computer
for it. I'm trying to avoid that just to save money - obviously I'd
love a brand-new computer, but we have other places to put money. I'm
going to get a trial version of Crossover and see if that'll placate
her. If not, I'll get some extra RAM for a computer in our basement
and make that the Windows computer.
Sincerely,
Ray Ingles (313) 227-2317
"Personally, I've been hearing all my life about the Serious
Philosophical Issues posed by life extension, and my attitude
has always been that I'm willing to grapple with those issues
for as many centuries as it takes." - Patrick Nielsen Hayden
