Evidently these people believe that

1) People with expertise in supporting application X shouldn't
    have a venue to sell their services
and

2) That it doesn't cost real-world money to host the
    sourceforge website, which is by now VERY substantial
    in size and bandwidth usage, neither of which is free
    in the real world.

I think the people complaining about others selling support
services, and sourceforge getting a commission are a bunch
of whiners living in their parents' basements.
