	What distro are you using?

	I use OpenSuse10.3 and it suggests Kaffeine as the media player.
When you fire up Kaffiene for the first time, it suggests that you install
the "third party" and covered by copy right media codecs. If you say "yes"
it takes you to a website which has a link to one of the OpenSuSe 10.3
"one-click" install packages. This will install all of the Windows Media
Codecs, DCCS and several others.

	I did that, popped in a DVD and voila! It just worked.
