 Yeah, but with a script like this in /usr/games to run it:

 ----------------FreedomForce------------
 #!/bin/sh

 cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Games/FreedomForce
 wine fforce.exe
 xrandr -s 1
 ----------------------------------------

 ...it automatically restores the resolution I want when I quit the game
without me having to do anything.
